Boys Soccer – Finished 9-9-1 on the year and were crowned GCL Co-ed Central champions! Swept the Central series 3-0. Gideon Fomba leaves his name all over the boys soccer record books as he now ranks #1 in school history in goals and points scored. His twin brother, Kingsley Fomba, ended his career with 23 career assists which puts him at #4 all time.

Cross Country – With our biggest team in recent history, the XC is just starting to make it’s way back at RB! First year head coach, Christine Ochs-Naderer, led the team of 20+ runners this season! Seniors Jacob Beyer, Emma Mullen and Shannon Seiler end their 4-year XC careers at RB. All three were named Student-Athlete of the Month for August! Jacob Beyer and Katya Walker earned MVP team honors!

Football – Spartans finish the year 4-6 and end up in 2nd place in the GCL Co-ed Central division. Spartans came up one score short in three games this season and had the best offense (294 points) in the regular season in the Central. Corey Kiner ’21 earns GCL Co-ed Player of the Year honors and breaks his way into the RB record books multiple times in just his second season. Zach Kuhlman ends his career ranking in the top 6 in multiple categories.

Golf – Spartans grab key regular season wins over Purcell Marian and Monroe. TJ Dewees ’20 led the team this season and was awarded team MVP. Ben Alexander ’21 was named Cincinnati Enquirer Player of the Week after his strong performance vs Purcell Marian! They finished in 8th place in the Sectional Tourament with TJ Dewees and Ben Alexander leading the way.

Girls Soccer – Spartans finished 9-5-3 this season which goes down as one of their best seasons in school history in terms of winning percentage! Spartans celebrated big wins over CHCA and Wyoming this season. They defeated Ross in the first round of the playoffs in PK’s. One of the most exciting games in recent history for our girls soccer team ended in a W as Taylor Stahl ‘ 20 saved the last two PK’s from Ross to send the Spartans home winners! Kylee Sheppard finished her season with the Central lead in points scored with 25! Her second consecutive season leading the division!

Girls Tennis – Spartans finish their season with key wins over Norwood and Taylor! Lily Crigler ’21 led the way for the Spartans this season and earned Cincinnati Enquirer Player of the Week honors! Seniors Olivia Crane and Anna Perry also had great seasons for the Spartans as the end their tennis career. Fred Widmeyer ends his RB coaching career after serving our student athletes for many years as head coach!

Girls Volleyball – Spartans accomplished many things this season! 22-0 regular season earned them #1 rank in OH for DII. They earned the GCL Co-ed league championship after defeating every team in the regular season. Earned their 21st district championship in school history. They finished as Regional Runner-Up as they fell to GCL Co-ed foe, Fenwick, in a 5-set match. They ended the season with a record of 26-1. Karly Niesen ’20 (GCL Co-ed Central Player of the Year) broke the single season assists record and Cammy Niesen ’22 broke the single season dig record! Alyssa Flading earned OH DII Coach of the Year!
